BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS

All booking requests with Safari Big 5 must be made in writing via email. A 30% deposit is required upon confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to arrival.

MONEY TRANSFERS

All transfers may incur bank charges, which must be paid and cleared by the client.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations cancelled or shortened are subject to the following fees:

  • 60 to 30 days prior to arrival: 30%
  • 29 to 2 days prior to arrival: 65%
  • Within 48 hours: 100%

ITINERARY REROUTE

Safari Big 5 may reroute your itinerary due to room or camping availability. You will be informed in advance if this occurs.

OUR TOURS EXCLUDE

All beverages during mountain trekking, safaris, or at lodges/hotels/tented camps, unless specifically mentioned in the itinerary.

BAGGAGE

Baggage and personal effects are at the client’s own risk throughout the safari/trekking. Baggage insurance is strongly recommended.

LIABILITY

Safari Big 5 acts as an agent and is not responsible for changes in itinerary, third-party services, delays (including flights), accidents, injuries, losses, damages, or any unforeseen events. Clients are strongly advised to obtain full travel insurance.

SEASONAL SURCHARGES

Rates exclude supplementary charges during Easter, Christmas, and New Year holidays. Please confirm during booking.

PRICES

Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control.

FORCE MAJEURE

Safari Big 5 is not liable for delays or failure due to events beyond control, including war, riots, terrorism, natural disasters, weather conditions, fire, or similar events.

INSURANCE

Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive insurance covering travel, medical, life, baggage, and emergency evacuation.

MARKETING

Safari Big 5 reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing purposes. Clients consent to such use and grant copyright permission.

LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
